About EDC INDIA's 5th National Scholarship Exam
Exam Details:
- Date: 20th April 2025
- Eligibility: Students from Class 10th and Class 12th (all streams).
- Groups:
- Group 1: Class 10th
- Group 2: Class 12th (Science, Arts, and Commerce)
- Mode: Online – Accessible via phone, tablet, or computer.
- Fee: ₹199 (Non-Refundable)
- Last Date of Application: 28th February 2025
- Note: Applications submitted after 28th February 2025 will incur a late fee of ₹100, making the total ₹299, until 30th March 2025.
Exam Timings and Pattern:
- Group 1 (Class 10th):
- Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Total Questions: 120
- Marking Scheme: 2.5 marks per correct answer, -1 mark for incorrect answers
- Maximum Marks: 300
- Group 2 (Class 12th):
- Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Total Questions: 120
- Marking Scheme: 2.5 marks per correct answer, -1 mark for incorrect answers
- Maximum Marks: 300

Syllabus for the Scholarship Exam
Class 10th (Group 1):
- Mathematics: Real Numbers, Polynomials, Quadratic Equations, Trigonometry, Probability, Mensuration
- Science: Light, Electricity, Carbon Compounds, Life Processes
- General Knowledge: Current Affairs, History, Geography
- Reasoning Ability: Analogies, Logical Puzzles
Class 12th (Group 2):
